The Olive Oil Factory is a UK based company who act as sole importers and agents for
Oleificio Moscato Federico, producers of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Campania, Italy.

Moscato is a family run business which first began pressing olives in 1885 and the traditional skills and knowledge of olive cultivation and oil production have been passed down through generations to the present proprietor, Federico Moscato.

Although the company produces millions of bottles of Extra Virgin Olive Oil each year, all of this production has been typically sold on the domestic market in Italy, where the brand name is well respected amongst discerning Italians. In fact, the product has never been exported outside Italy.

We are therefore pleased to be associated with this product and are proud to announce its arrival in the UK in the near future.

As exclusive agents for Moscato we will be looking to make long-term collaboration with speciality food distributors in all parts of the UK, who can benefit by taking deliveries direct from the production plant in Italy.

Extra-virgin olive oil comes from virgin oil production only, contains no more than 0.8% acidity, and is judged to have a superior taste. Extra Virgin olive oil accounts for less than 10% of oil in many producing countries.

This is the highest quality of olive oil, and is the first produced by pressing the olives without the use of heat or chemicals, so it is a totally natural and pure unrefined product. Like a very fine wine, extra virgin olive oil is both rich and flavoursome with its own distinctive character

It is used on salads, added at the table to soups and stews and for dipping.
